How to watch Lollapalooza 2020 music festival live from anywhere

Live music fans are in for a treat this weekend. While the original plans for Lollapalooza 2020 have fallen through, the show is heading to YouTube for a virtual four-night broadcast event instead. This free virtual music festival will feature both past performances and brand new ones from a variety of music's biggest acts. With more than 150 performances lined up over the next few days, this isn't an event to be missed.

Lollapalooza 2020 is set to bring audiences back to past Lollapalooza performances from artists like Lorde, Alabama Shakes, LCD Soundsystem, Metallica, Ellie Goulding, Paul McCartney, Chance the Rapper, OutKast, and Arcade Fire. Meanwhile, you can catch new performances from artists like H.E.R., The Neighbourhood, YungBlud, Kali Uchis, Kaskade, Louis the Child, and many more.

Lollapalooza 2020: When and where

The livestream of Lollapalooza begins on Thursday, July 30 and runs through Sunday, August 2. Each night's concerts begin at 5 p.m. CT. Head to the Lollapalooza website for a full schedule to see which day and time your favorite artists are performing. Many of these performances are nearly impossible to find online for viewing otherwise, so this is your one chance to watch before they disappear again.

Lollapalooza 2020 is exclusively available to stream on YouTube this year, which means you have a myriad of ways to access the festival. Meanwhile, be sure to check out the Lollapalooza website to check out the exclusive merch available for this year's event.

How to watch Lollapalooza 2020 live stream

This will be one of the easiest — and most affordable — festivals to get to in your life. Lollapalooza goes live at 5 p.m. CT on the Lollapalooza YouTube channel each night from July 30 to August 2, meaning you just need to open YouTube on the device of your choice to start watching.

That could be your phone, tablet, Fire TV Stick, smart TV, computer, and pretty much anywhere else you can access YouTube. Then again, if you are unable to view YouTube because of your current location, try out a VPN service so you can get access before the show begins.
